MILWAUKEE — On Sunday afternoon, the One MKE Coalition hosted a pop-up event at Bradford Beach to encourage voter participation. The event was part of a national initiative by the non-profit organization Pizza to the Polls.

Wyatt Finder, a representative from the Coalition, explained, “This is a great way to reach people in Milwaukee. Civic participation is crucial, and we’re pleased to support this effort.”

The event featured free snacks, pizza, and live music, all aimed at drawing in beach-goers and sparking conversations about the importance of voting.

Event attendee Aaron Grant emphasized the need for voter preparation, stating, “Spend just 10-15 minutes a day researching before the election. It’s very important.”

In addition to promoting voter engagement, the pop-up also offered information about local programs and services available to the community.
